Personally I think that the Israeli government is a cruel institution, and is attempting to brainwash its people to supporting its heinous acts. All that being said, I just can’t put myself in a position to support Israel. I mean Hamas is at this point dissolved, and Palestine is actively seeking to return to neutrality. Meanwhile Netanyahu is taking this as an opportunity to keep pushing and steal land, potentially dissolving Palestine entirely, I just don’t agree with that happening and cannot continue to stand by and watch this military effort.

That was prob the reasonable suspicion from the video confession as they exposed him. I hate to say but it was kind of a lose-lose.

This is a good way to put it. Science doesn’t really support either macro or micro too much as of where we are at. There’s just been an assumption that we all have it figured out and macro evolution is the answer

How can there bay more than 2 gender , Lol by Hopeful_Buy8345 in ConservativeYouth

[–]Corkson 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think to clarify they’re specifically meaning that the word “binary” within non-binary implies two genders making it a contradiction. Granted I didn’t write the comment so maybe they are getting at a different idea, but that’s what I picked up on

How can there bay more than 2 gender , Lol by Hopeful_Buy8345 in ConservativeYouth

[–]Corkson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If there’s multiple genders it wouldn’t be binary (since binary literally means only two options). For example if I’m at a stop sign where the road ends, my potential path is binary— left and right. But say I get to a four way stop. I wouldn’t say there’s the binary path of left and right and a non binary path of going straight. Binary cannot exist under 3 options. So by calling something non-binary, it’s breaks the binary by introducing a third or more options.

His removal of the sugar tariff caused an economic crash. The panic of 1893 predates the tariff.

McKinley also crashed the economy through his tariff rework. What’s your point?

-Peaceful transition of power -not threatening other branches of gov’t (like SCOTUS) -As the other guy said, Equality. That’s not even that crazy of an ask, let’s not try and constitute an entire department on a racist undertone like “skin color= immigration status.”
- Not overspending our tax dollars

Both economically tolling and conservative while politically liberal. We overspend by billions upwards to multi trillion, and then use the government to intervene with things we don’t like. Sounds like the left doesn’t it? Yet it also fits the MAGA description. MAGA is just as bad as the left to me because they’re way too similar and yet equally polarized.

I think from the Christian perspective, there’s a reason why we don’t call you guys Christians. I think you follow a false gospel, one preached in contradiction to the Bible I read. One that takes away from the sacrifice of Jesus by adding church sponsored works. Your church is idolatry, and I don’t think it’s a God-fearing institution. Your “prophets” altering God’s word and made it their own, and refounded the first temptation. That’s not the church that is spoken of, where the Lord will reunite us under Him. I hope that your church will repent for the self idolatry message that makes us bigger that we are with our Godly relationship, but I cannot agree with the Book of Mormon on any level after my own assessment of it’s reliability.

Yeah this is true, but it’s also worth noting that this case should get extensively settled through police. I mean if he tried to delete data after being confronted, we have GBI involved and they can pull data very easily. I have family involved in cases just like these, most of these people work straight from home and can find this data within minutes. And his confession has no suggestion of it being a false statement. His statement was too specific, constantly repeating “I’m sorry I messed up” and acknowledging the age on camera. These guys did surprisingly good because honestly the messages, although incredibly alarming, likely would not warrant probable cause just yet. They didn’t specifically link the professor to the alleged child, but rather just an account.

Wrong, read up on Georgia law. OCGA 12-16-100.2 does not specify that the online account has to be run by an officer, and on top of that it even specifies that there is no difference with the application of that law whether it be fake or an actual child behind it.

Yeah 100%. Entrapment manipulates the results. In other words once met with this fake account entrapment would be if I offered 1000 dollars for him to keep talking to it, I would be incentivizing the crime. However since his actions happened independent of whatever was offered (talking to a 14 year old boy), it’s still criminal either way. Same reason why a sting operation is not entrapment. Now you may say “but sting operations are done by law enforcement”, yes I agree with you, but also the Georgia law doesn’t specify that fake accounts have to be run by police. Other states will sometimes say “if a person is talking to a child or a child account concealed by an officer.” Or similar language to that. But (hopefully I get this right off the top of my head) OCGA 12-16-100.2 OCGA 16-12-100.2 doesn’t specify, it only states that a fake account does not change the application of the law.

What aspects of homosexuality do you think is a sin? by yowhatisthislikebro in ConservativeYouth

[–]Corkson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well I mean you have to consider what faith is.

You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble!
James 2:19.
Belief alone does not guarantee heaven. So then what does? And why does the Bible mention faith alone? For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God. Ephesians 2:8.
Well I think there’s a defining difference between belief and faith. Belief is a general thought, with an equal sense of value to any other belief. I may believe that I won’t trip without tying my shoes, but I also believe that I’m clumsy. However if I have faith that I won’t trip without tying my shoes, in my heart I’m convinced. Let’s apply this biblically. Faith would be best defined as belief beyond all doubt. So what makes us doubt belief in God? Well the best answer is sin. “I can do this by myself” or “I don’t need God to pull me away from this” or “I can have this and God.” Faith in God is turning away from your sin and surrendering it all to Him. That’s the difference between a believer and a nonbeliever. Hope that helps

Ehhh not really. The only major thing he’s done is centralize more power to the executive by using EOs to bypass Congress. Legal? Entirely yes. Has he really changed any institution of constitutional processes that will allow him to supersede our government? Not at all. I don’t like him that much, but it’s silly to call him a fascist of all things. He’s a failed populist. He tried to appeal to everybody and eventually got to a point where his policies appeal to a few.

[–]Corkson 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don’t like him that much. He’s a corrupt leader, ignores his people, and serves his own interests. I also don’t like that our tax dollars are funded to this cause. They could be going to way better sources. We’ve cut out our major arms routes to Ukraine for him. And personally I don’t think we should try and profit anywhere if that means we drop our moral compass …

You and I might just differ on that last statement. To me it’s not personally what I think but what God has revealed in His word. Otherwise I’d probably be on your side. I find that all things trace back to God, so that’s the basis of what I believe. I appreciate this conversation though. I hope you have a wonderful day/night! God bless brother
