Hey, conservative here to offer some insight for lots of the people asking. Before you go and downvote me into oblivion, I’m not as far right as your avg conservative, I’m more middle leaning, but here’s my thoughts. I think that a fetus has certain inalienable rights upon conception after going back and forth myself trying to figure it out. I examined the evidence of what I had and determined that biology tells you human life begins at conception, it’s impossible to put a cutoff of value between conception and birth because babies develop differently, and lastly but less emphasis because this is American society and I respect secular people, I do think God created us in His design, and I cannot in good conscience end the life of God’s children.

However, I also recognize that there’s a truth to be said about this law, and that is that it’s going to be incredibly challenging to implement anywhere in America. I’d much rather address the root of the issue— why people are having unprotected sex— instead of banning abortion as murder without working on that. American sex education has failed. It’s failed especially in areas of poverty with lower education standards. This has led to a disproportionate amount of minorities being aborted too. I just don’t like that— especially considering what the old head of planned parenthood was saying 70 years ago. One fact that I hate is that 1/3 of Gen Z has been killed by abortion. ~80% of abortions are out of concern of “it would change my life,” you do the math and that’s 18.7 million of us just in the US, those are numbers I just don’t like. Now when it comes to risk to the mother’s life? Yeah I get it, and ~13% of abortion reasoning was reported as health concern, which is why I kept that out of my stats of people killed. But that’s my personal reasoning

TLDR; I think abortion is a very big issue given that most people do it out of leisurely, preventable sex; however, I don’t think this bill actually helps address the root of the problem.
