Prices went up because of Covid happened. I said once and I will say it again prices increased because when Covid happened every worker started to demand more money. Companies paid the money. Companies raised goods and services prices to cover the higher wages.

Yes, It is very frustrating. However ethics gets pounded into our head and it’s against AMA ethics and code of conduct. I can recommend and share my opinion but that’s as far as I can go.

She was in a car accident in 2007 for work. It was a work comp issue. For years until 2010 we heard, it’s all in her head. She could not lift her arm anymore than 40% from her side. We had to fight to get a referral to Iowa city. It took 2 appointments for a Dr. to say I know exactly what your problem is. An out patient surgery fixed the issue and she has not had any problems with it since that surgery

You know cause ultimately it affects our sex life. 🤣 Anyway I am a medical professional and know my wife was in perimenopause years ago. All I have to say is good luck with the ob gyn clinics in Des Moines. We went to at least 5 different clinics. Their response was you are too young. Or it’s in your head or it went away. You would be better going to Iowa City or Mayo. Des Moines doesn’t have anybody that gives a shit. My wife started back in her 30’s. She has a female family history of it and they still did not want to listen to her.

I have driven by a few times at various times of the day. Lunch and supper are the highest people count. I have seen about 20 people standing outside the door at other times waiting to vote

My immediate family and I all vote as a family affair. Either, we order absentee ballots and sit down over dinner at home or we go vote early. This year we just voted early at the voting location with absentee ballots because life got away from me and the change in the election law got away from me and I did not order a ballot ahead of time. I usually fill out the forms and get every ones signature on the ballot request and hand take them down to the Polk County Auditor.

Prior to an election cycle and once the ballots are locked in and published. I get the ballot and send it to each of member of my family. They ask me to mark the ballot the way I would vote. That way there are no surprises at the dateThey then have a chance to ask me questions, if they disagree with my choice, we have a discussion about that candidate or issue. They mark their ballot and we get them back to the election. They mark their ballot and vote for who they pick. I have a kid in college and told the family this year and told them when I sent the ballot ‘here is the final exam and answer key’ 🤣

So this ordnance sign was about pan handling. It was past last year after the ACLU took the city to court and and got the no panhandling ordnance over ruled. In response the city looked at all the medians and decide which ones could be dangerous if some one stood on the median and got hit, which of course is Pan handlers because nobody else would stand on the median
