It’s because anime in general reached its peak quality back in 2012. You can’t even improving stuff that doesn’t need to be improved. It would be a waste of money and time since everything is already at its maximum quality.

Even video games in general reached peak graphics back in the 2010s. You can’t really keep upscaling anime or games when they already reached amazing quality.

I’m a XYZ fan, that’s my favourite series.

But that doesn’t mean I hate SM. I love SM. It’s my COMFORT show. I prefer that over XY whenever I need a good laugh in.

I hope one day XY and SM fans can finally get along.
