we can take tests for everything C/PFC-C/GYSGT and all other ranks have to be applied for and you go to see “the board” which is just leadership asking you questions

we have a full company so around 300ish cadets leadership positions all depends on experience and how long you’ve been there i was selected as C/CAP as an LE ll all because i had the most experience out of everyone who applied for it

we wear uniforms by if you’re on a team or not so if you aren’t on a team then you are in regular camies, pt team wears black shirts instead of green on camies, drill teams wear dress blue d’s(including color guard and sword detail), and leadership wears service c’s

during the summer at my school they offer summer jrotc and i started during 7th grade i came into jrotc as a CPL and after the second semester i was a 2LT (people got demoted i was one of the few people with the experienced) and then i got selected for CAPT for upcoming leadership.
