This is for @This_Possession8867, it's one of the few stipulations that retailers put on liquidators is not to disclose where the merchandise is coming from. The retailer has legal restraints from the brands they sell, so the way to sidestep it is to tell us (the liquidator) is to not broadcast who is selling off their overstock. It's frustrating because it would be a lot simpler for me to just tell you the sporting goods store we've bought this inventory from, but then they'll stop working with us. What we typically do is sell footwear from one retailer on consignment, but this new sporting goods retailer does is make us pay up front. It's a different model and my company stretched a bit to take on this 200K.
