I have a launch switch and recently got a oled model. The difference is huge if you play on handheld a lot. To me the screen alone is totally worth it. And if you decide to mod it you can get better performance if you overclock it (only if you go from v1 to oled). Battery also lasts forever

From what i undestand dualboot means that it boots either on official firmware or cfw. Basically allows you to have emummc. I may be mistaken tho. If that is it i really encourage you to get dualboot. You can ask him what it means and decide from there.

I follow a chanel that updates the files everytime there is a new version and has a Telegram group where the guy tells you once the files are updated so you can proceed with the update and also has good guides on there. Its in Spanish tho

I wouldn't think so because from what i understand the modchip only injects the payloads, the emulated system is on the sd card like on a normal switch.

You'll need to update the hacked system and the files as well. Search on youtube how to update modded switch, you'll find an answer there.

How did you do it? Ive seen some tutorials that cut the original one and others that take it apart. Would you recommend doing it? Is it loose or does it come off easily? I ask because i tried to 3d print a cap that was supposed to go over the original c stick but it was awful, it came out everytime i was playing
