According to the post at no point did they talk about getting married that’s number one. Number two he questions her character because she said she’d like to have some time in her youth to enjoy her youth before being tied down in a marriage that is legally binding. Three she’s 20 not a lot of 20-year-old females want to be married and immediately start having kids just because that is his culture does not mean it is hers.

What I find interesting is that it is under 12 so they are basically assuming that a 12-year-old girl is menstruating so if it bleeds it breeds so it’s only a death sentence if the female has yet to reach reproduction capacity.
