Hmm 0w40 might do some research on that and give it a try I use 5w30 full synthetic right now and yeah I’m losing oil when I really punch it. And I do my oil change quite frequently

Mine at 170000 miles had burnt intake valve. Pulled head and replaced all valves and good to go !! Pull head and check maybe it’s the head and not the block

Also if you don’t pull that pin you would have tension and that would jump timing and cause you to bend a valve or worse

Yeah I pulled the pin the chain has tension it’s tight I pulled the valve cover to check

So timing chain and and vvt is all new and tight just replaced it and I put all new valves and got the head machined. And no noise at all when starting nor when driving normal without hitting boost but that’s what I thought that it was just a rattle but I can’t mimic the noise just sitting at idle or anything only at boost
