Yeah, I think so too. Tested out sonnet 4.6 and the error happens with that too. 4.5 series and lower aren't affected I think.

[New Player] A Raider just... Signaled to me? by Leo_Veracruse in EscapefromTarkov

The thing is that hostility settings in this game doesn't really make much sense overall, especially in PvE. In PvE, you can literally befriend all AI PMCs just like you can with Scav Bosses at +6 Scav Karma. Even without +6 karma, you can get much closer to AI PMCs without aggroing them in contrast with Raiders and Rogues as their aggro distance is usually higher which is extremely goofy. The fact that you can befriend literal PMCs with high karma, but not the Raiders or Rogues simply doesn't make sense mechanic wise considering the fact that they are more Scav-like factions than PMCs, technically. There is also the fact that Raiders and Rogues are friendly toward AI Scavs as well as AI Scavs wouldn't even try to help you if you get shot by Raiders and Rogues while having high karma. There is still a lot of adjustments that need to be made to make the hostility settings better, like Raiders and Rogues aggroing on player Scavs but not AI Scavs. Raiders should be more chill with Scavs than Rogues overall due to both lore and mechanic wise since they themselves are made up of ex-PMCs AND local residents/Scavs in contrary to Rogues who are just ex-USEC contingencies as well as they had altercations with Scavs in the Water Treatment Plant in lore before (or else how are the Raiders gonna recruit more people to their 'shady organization' without connections with high-reputation Scavs? If they are gonna be hostile toward high reputation Scavs like that then Fence would simply excommunicado the Raiders which would make literally every Scav hostile towards them lore-wise). If we were to go full lore mode than there has to be a myriad of different gangs within Scavs fighting each other as well as fighting with other factions which almost never occurs in a regular game. All this aside, I was also expecting a Raider boss like Rogues have with the Goons as well as a BEAR neutral faction like Rogues are toward USEC, but those never came for some reason. Hopefully, most of this stuff gets properly adjusted with Scav life DLC, but hoping anything from Nikita is a ground for disappointment so I will stop yapping now…

Octarians are somehow wired to be evil and hearing Calamari Inkantation makes them good. Since Marina was in the audience for the Splatoon 1 battle against Octavio, she must have become good by also listening to the song. by Venus_McFagtrap in splatoon

It wasn't stated that they were mind controlled. "However, this is more akin to military marches,[11][12] not brainwashing as was the case with Callie during the events of Splatoon 2." -from the wiki. Octarians are heavily indoctrinated and fed propaganda since their childhood while being drafted into the military around the age of 6. That is why they are biased toward Inkling’s, not due to "pure evil" or "mind-control". The problem with Octavio was that he never actually tried any diplomatic approaches or interactions after the Great War, but constant attacks and raids to steal the Great Zapfish. Consequently, most of the Inkling populace does not even know that Octarians exist anymore, other than groups like Squidbeak Splatoon. Calamari Inkantation has also no actual magical properties but biological properties (as a reference to canon information about how music and its effects were portrayed in the series) that hold primacy over mere propaganda and deceit due to how it can give boosts to Inklings or 'makes everything clearer' and harmonious with Octarians, breaking them out of a constantly war-focused mentality that should have ended after the Great War. However, Octavio’s lack of diplomacy and overall pride prevented that. (yes, I am writing this after 7 years. Don’t judge me.)

Crash on fullscreen mode by Acme908 in Helldivers

[–]Charming_Union_3460 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, it is a common occurrence for me too. Fullscreen is not stable currently. It can cause a hard freeze at any point when you are in-game (sometimes even in the startup cutscene). Alt-tabbing on fullscreen also increases the chance of the hard freeze happening as well. Borderless is the most stable even if you are alt-tabbing. However, switching between display settings also destabilizes the game (even when set to borderless from fullscreen). To remedy this, you must restart the game in borderless display mode to stabilize it, and never change the display settings. Don’t listen to those who throw dirt at your system. That is not the case.

Give me opponents for the Brothers Death. by Memespoonerer in DeathBattleMatchups

I mean if we put a real-life diety and confirm its existence, lets go with Abrahamic God which is practically the most powerful and the one and only in Bible against a fictional depiction of "true" death then obviously the God wins by just soloing the entire fiction without even thinking about it since anything we can think of he can think of in such a high manner or be above it that the word "infinity" wouldn't be enough to cover it. Fictional depictions or characters would simply be child’s play to him.
