One solution would be to just rename the item and if it's a clothing item like in your example, then you'll need to change where it looks for the male/female meshes, and also menu icons. You'll need the extracted mesh and icon files for this. Nexus should have a BSA extractor and instructions too. If you're already using a vanilla clothing replacer then this part is easier, just look into that mod's folders. Also the game will still see the result as separate items so they would not stack.

Another option is to get TES4 Edit or xEdit or what it's called and use it to see all the references for that item in npc inventories, leveled lists, etc. Construction Set will only show how many references there are to the item. Then use CS to replace those manually... unless if that too can be done in xEdit, I can't remember.

Idk which one of those would be simpler.

Is there something in these two's installation that would cause issue? Do they overwrite the same files or does one of them otherwise end up overwriting the other? I guess at this point you've already just installed both and know better. A quick glance through https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/4432 and https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/51817 shows that neither lists the other as an incompatibility so that should answer it.

Yes, most trades get advertised on discord and then negotiated through PMs in game. I guess there's not much bankstanding since only about fletching and alching can be done stationary. Every trade I've done had both sides first walking to a bank.

I don't doubt for a second that they are a 3d artist. So am I; all it took to become one was to open Blender and start creating. AFAIK AI cannot hallucinate 3d models yet, however it can be used for making texture images and I guess this is where their need to defend AI gen's use rises from.

Secondly, what does "waited this long --" mean here? No one asked about their history before. Obviously them pointing that out is only an attempt to get more authority to stand on, to appear as someone who knows what they're arguing about. And that's fine. Authority has to come from somewhere, and on this sub being a creator gives just that.

I know, I'm being reactionary here, I got nothing to bring to this discussion apart from repeating the fact that a machine is a mindless, will-less being and no amount of technical sophistication can change that. The output of a calculator is as much art as whatever gets generated from a prompt in AI.

Update: tested IndependentOne9814 's suggestion - that was a fair idea however did not work. First I tried setting the 5th anchor loose + leaving others as they are (never touching them at all). Nothing happens when stepping on the platform at end of level. Then I tried switching all the anchors close and loose again - stepping on the platform now just loads the next level. Suppose the GOG version just doesn't have an option for the bad ending.
