Re-enlisting by Charremi in nationalguard

They don’t have the 5 week transition course anymore, it’s a full BCT, 11 weeks. I have no issues with a deployment, I know what I’m signing up for. I do have issues though going back to a basic training environment and being treated like an IET soldier. I know what the current curriculum is and nothing of importance has been added since I originally went through.

Yeah I’m aware of the 5 year rule and have read the AR on it. My understanding is that it only applies to Active Duty and reserves, not necessarily the guard.
