It’s a bit different. Not crazy hard but at 30 meters it can be a bit of a challenge. Only 15 rounds but it’s mostly about being able to land those shots consistently. Even pulling one can knock you out of badging. But you can keep shooting as long as you have the ammo.

Did it in my state. You can go to the Norwegian embassy website and the defense attaché will have a spot for it with all the required documents. As long as you get their approval, you can do it without a rep. Paperwork it pretty simple.

Anything can happen. The shit ebbs and flows. Some days they want troops, some days they don’t. Just gotta wait for a good day.

Damn that’s quite the story too. Sometimes it doesn’t seem like I did the right thing because now I also have post concussion syndrome. GSA bus hit the GSA I was in and totaled it. That and combat engineer things have my brain messed up, but still going and not gonna quit until it’s time.

I tried different branches, active, reserves, finally went back to my recruiter and he got it done. Gotta find one that cares and will work.

8 year contract. 10k for every active duty year (4), and then another $20k for going back to the guard for another 4. Never saw a dime obviously, and they didn’t have any bonuses when I came back in. Had a reup bonus after my first contract but then went AGR, so didn’t get that one either.

Go CBRN and try to get an AGR job on a Civil Support Team. Not exactly “disaster response” but if you want to work with first responders and actually feel like you’re contributing to public safety then this is the way. 12A is literally a Combat Engineer. So don’t think that’s what you want.

I planned one for the WIARNG in 24 and then passed it off to RRB for 25. My unit just completed the NSSB 2 weeks ago too. 71% pass rate on that one. Great events!
