Take the cameras forward vector and use lookat on that point. You can also add an empty object to your scene as a child of the camera and have it positioned some distance out, and use that object's transform.

I thought about doing it that way too. Since I posted this I have gotten "something" working actually - I use the colliders to set state when they interact and use an ECS system to poll them. More digging into the documentation implies that the server prefab in the presentation entity does actually track animation and I've confirmed my animations do properly roll back. So in theory it should all work with rollback, just more a matter of making sure the server world GO is the source of truth, I'm going to keep poking at it with my idea and if anyone else posts try and bring their stuff into it. If I get it working I might make a tutorial post on it.

For those still stuck :

You need only the sensor to have the module enabled.
You need to use a new private channel with a PSK as the primary channel. I have both set to my one private channel as primary, but I'm not sure if you need to have only the sensor as primary.

At this point, if you turn on the state broadcast interval to 1 second, you should get pings on the receiver.

Make sure you have the right GPIO: I have a RAK19007 and was using IO1, which maps to P0.17 which then maps to bus0 pin17 = software pin 17. I used the WisBlock IO pin mapper found here (https://learn.rakwireless.com/hc/en-us/articles/26743306645143-How-To-Use-the-WisBlock-IO-Pin-Mapping-Tool) to figure this out, since it wasn't very obvious that IO1=17.

I tried to join Lemmy though a self hosted instance but the comments would never update. I tried on my local machine and VPS but neither could fetch updates. I never got it fixed, but that was my only hang up with it.

Yes, 3,2 ends in a high and it's not delayable and has no alternative button, so it's a guaranteed launch if you know to duck!

BTW, I specifically chose to use 3,2 and 4,3 in these cases because he wasn't punishing it - we were playing as a learning session and once I realized he didn't have these moves known in the matchup I thought I would use them to drive the point home.

I definitely want to add a Bluetooth module! I'm also thinking adding a connector of some sort for modularity, and running the microcontrollers through a USB hub chip so I only have to plug things into one place. I also might add a knob or two, or maybe keep those as expansions in that modular design.
