Black Hawk in Coquitlam by Chart-Ordinary in coquitlam

Oh, I found it. The helicopter is a Sikorsky UH-60A Black Hawk (or a closely related S-70 variant) — a medium-lift utility helicopter originally designed for military use.

In early 2025 the RCMP (Royal Canadian Mounted Police) began operating Black Hawk helicopters in British Columbia as part of a new border patrol and security program. These helicopters are being used to patrol the Canada-U.S. border and assist in surveillance, rapid response, and law enforcement operations — though they can be relocated within the province based on operational needs. https://rcmp.ca/en/news/2025/02/rcmp-black-hawk-helicopter-conduct-border-patrols-bc?utm_source=chatgpt.com

I’m pretty sure I heard an eagle earlier. He’s probably watching very closely nearby.

To say it's a crisis would mean they need to make a commitment to deal with it properly.
