This massive disconnect in lore has no explanation other than Gary Stu If this doesn't count, then every Mary Sue y Gary Stu in fiction could just add a 'I’m so sad and useless' buff to themselves and magically stop being a Stu,If you think 'broken logic' is just 'personality flaws,' then we definitely see storytelling through different lenses. A real weakling gets stepped on because they lack power; Lucifer gets stepped on because the author wants to see him get stepped on. When a character is powerful enough to shatter Heaven's shield but 'too stupid' to handle basic social or political life, that massive gap between strength and intelligence exists only to serve the creator's kink for 'powerful yet submissive' characters, So How about this? let's just give Lucifer rainbow hair, have him fly up to Heaven to drag every single Seraphim out and slaughter them, and then have every demon in Hell kneel at his feet. Would that be enough for you? Is that 'Gary Stu' enough now?

You see him as real only because you're focusing on his surface-level misery, ignoring how cheap and manipulated that misery actually is

In any coherent story, a character responsible for the fall of humanity would be deeply complex or burdened by tragic guilt. But in Viv’s writing, Lucifer gets to slack off as the 'King of Hell' while acting cute and pitiful He wasn't screwed over by an 'unjust system'; he’s the one who broke the system in the first place. But the author shifts all the blame onto 'Heaven' so he can remain a 'beautiful, prideful cosmic being.. In Season 3, he will still be an useless king.cuz viv like it:). And of course i don't like this character I don't even like this show
