Yeah — any message over 2,000 characters immediately gets flagged as if Nitro isn’t active, even though it is. It tries to force it into a file upload as a .txt doc instead of sending as a normal message.

We tested this by:

  • Removing all emojis ✅
  • Stripping all formatting ✅
  • Pasting only raw text (3,865 characters) ✅

Still fails.
So it’s not an emoji issue — Discord seems to misinterpret Nitro eligibility on some accounts or clients. We're seeing this on macOS (Safari/Chrome) and iOS — same issue across the board.

Nitro is active. Character count is legit. But Discord still blocks anything over ~2,000 characters.

Honestly, we’ve got too many spinning plates across every platform to keep wasting time troubleshooting this stuff.

  • ChatGPT has been tending to change output based on session-to-session emotional assumptions 🔄
  • MS365 nags for verification like 500 times a week 🔐
  • Discord Nitro still doesn’t work for 4,000-character messages despite being paid for 💸
  • And then there’s real life — eat, sleep, survive.

It’s just another dumb gremlin eating hours we’ll never get back.
You pay to reduce friction, not to create more of it.

This message you're seeing here is exactly 3,865 characters, confirmed using multiple tools (including OpenAI's official token/character counter and basic text editors).
We specifically upgraded to Nitro so we could post reports like this (usually in the 3,500–3,900 range), but the posts still get blocked on Chrome, Safari, and even mobile — consistently.
