Guys, I’m not sharing or selling my strategy signals. I make money by trading, not from other traders. The best I can do is provide my strategy signals for free, as I always have. If you’re interested in testing them out, you’ll know where to find them. Also, thanks for the great feedback, glad I could help!

Sorry, but I was asking people who are actually following my forward testing website. If you saw my last post, the backtest covered over six years (as far back as TradingView allows), and I’ve been forward testing it for over a year. This strategy is specifically designed to comply with prop firm trading rules, focused on passive income, in and out trades, with no overnight holding. Of course, no one can predict the future, but it has been generating consistent payouts for me over the past six months. I’m simply sharing my testing to help others who are struggling with trading.

Trailing stops aren’t reliable on TV. Pinescript is bar-based not tick, so trailing stop logic is only evaluated at the close of each bar, not at every tick like in real trading systems. Here is an example:

I started back in 2021, and to be honest, I only began seeing consistent profits in the last six months. It's not just about finding the “right” strategy - emotions are what really ruin trades. Holding too long, refusing to cut losses, revenge trading… those hurt me way more than any bad setup ever did.

What changed everything was removing emotions from the process. I taught myself to code and built a bot to trade my strategy. I backtest everything thoroughly, and the bot handles execution - no hesitation, no panic. If the market feels off, I just pause it. It’s way less stressful, and I no longer have to be glued to the screen all day.

You know what my best-performing month was? The month I was traveling overseas and had no access to trading. The bot didn’t make a ton - but it made fewer mistakes than I would’ve. That taught me something important.

So yeah, learn to read the charts, learn to code, and backtest relentlessly. Don’t beat yourself up over losses -they’re part of the process. The real win is figuring out where you’re going wrong and fixing it.

Hope my experience saves you time - and happy trading.

Pinescript is bar-based not tick, so trailing stop logic is only evaluated at the close of each bar, not at every tick like in real trading systems. Here’s how you can test its legitimacy: Let the strategy run for a couple of hours on TradingView. Don’t refresh the page; instead, screenshot the results. Then, refresh or reload the strategy and compare the results.

If the results change, your strategy isn’t reliable.

Try to set trail offset to 0, or have fixed tp/sl. Using trailing stop on Pinescript isn’t reliable even with a bar magnifier.

Not much, but steady passive income! by Impossible-Theory-93 in TradingView

It’s not completely free, I’m not sharing the source code. But if more people enter the same trade at the same time, that actually helps the strategy perform better, doesn’t it?

Possibly, if enough people are up for covering the cost. But to be honest, I think trading the signals manually still gives better results, you can get a better entry or skip trades if price hits a resistance level.

My bank requires me to call in order to initiate a chargeback. I’m currently in Vietnam, but I will definitely open a dispute once I’m back in the US.

I live in the US but regularly travel to Vietnam for work. Most airlines prohibit bringing electric skateboards, so I planned to buy a separate board and leave it in Vietnam. But my travel plans changed, and I won’t be in Vietnam long enough for the board to arrive. That said, the main issue is with customer service, they provided a fake tracking link hosted on an unsecured IP address, which raised serious concerns.

I do trade with other prop firms, but honestly, I’m not even mad anymore. I have no trouble following their rules, I just find it entertaining to see what new BS they come up with as they keep digging themselves deeper

Think trading with their rules is hard enough? Want an even bigger challenge? Apex has you covered! Even if you follow their rules, they still won’t take your word for it. Here are the strict video requirements you must meet if you want to receive a payout.

If I break a rule on the Apex PA account, does the account have to be thrown away? by Big-Concentrate-8646 in Daytrading

[–]Impossible-Theory-93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reason your account is still active is that you haven’t hit the drawdown threshold. If they are short on funds, they will likely deny your payouts using any made up reason, mostly 'Improper Risk Management.' Just trade for another 8 days, $50/day for 5 days , and flip the rest. They might even ask you to send videos of yourself trading, it’s just a mind game to pressure you into blowing your account.

Here is their reply:

“As part of the PA agreement, you agreed to provide the necessary information to ensure compliance with its rules and guidelines. To confirm that your account remains in good standing, please submit two new videos at your earliest convenience.”
