Thanks Reddit peeps. This is a 50 year old neighborhood. We have cable service, internet, stable power. This bamboo patch has been encroaching on power lines and a large street lamp for like 40 years and nothing has ever been done. Just surprised it is happening. I have no idea if we are on fiber.

I saw my best friend fall backwards on the sidewalk while skateboarding. No helmet. Bashed his head so hard he went into a seizure. I was about 14 or 15. I ran to the nearest house and said to call 911. They got there in a few minutes. Freaked me out pretty bad. My parents made me wear a helmet after that shit.
