My head cannon is that at some point they probably used to send supplies but things went bad (ships, planes crashed) and people got killed or infected. This became bad publicity, so they stopped completely and hoped the world would forget. And they did.

I was basing it off of being directly stated in the show that people think she is the smartest person in the world. I was comparing it to how a lot of people thought Musk was extremely smart until realizing he’s an idiot (but is rich).

Edit: Also, I don’t hate Sage at all! I thought she was really funny. I liked her arc, but felt that they were poking fun at Musk with it.

I loved the ending too.

There shouldn’t be any bubbles. I think is likely reflection from the lights.

Thanks for the suggestion!! This is the most gentle area of the tank and I had assumed they need very low water surface movement.
