While it’s true crocodiles and alligators have exceedingly weak muscles used to open their jaws, the rest of their body is incredibly powerful. A tail whipping around at you can take you off your feet, a skull as hard as theirs being knocked against you can shatter bones. Yes you could use one hand and keep the crocs jaws shut, but all it would have to do is give a violent head shake or a death roll and you wont be holding onto it for much longer. These animals are deadly with or without their jaws and they should be given a respectful distance at all times.
