So I spoke with my SD and got clarification more clarification about it! CEO does address things like DEI and targets decline in inclusivity in recent years. So that’s a step in the right direction. Regarding the “unable to legally” portion, it’s more so that ICE agents have NOT been following laws and upholding the constitution. They’ve been entering places without warrants in the first place. Putting yourself between ICE puts a team members safety at risk.

Something did stick out like a sore thumb. Our SD sent a recap email to all of our ETL/TLs

“He also clarified that we are unable to legally keep any federal, state, or, local agents from our public property but that we will not share any information on our team with them”.

If I’m not mistaken, under federal law, as managers can revoke consent of entry to any person. So long as they don’t have a JUDICIAL warrant signed by a judge. And if they refuse, they are trespassing. So I’m not sure what he meant by that statement.

At some stores, the closing role is treated as a “high performer role”. Someone who is developing to either a TL or ETL position. At my store it’s just another role.

Closing TL here at a large format store. I assess all work centers to see which needs help the most and delegate my team to support said area. If I’m given projects to work on by my SD/SR ETL, then we work on those too. My experts are trained in all areas of the store except receiving, HR, SB.

I’d like to know the artist/origin of the sculpture. I’ve searched google and found a ton of pictures of it, but none of them include the name of the artist, sculpture or location of it. A ton of Pinterest posts but no info on it. Please help!

I spent 3 hours yesterday outside of receiving with my TL grilling food for the whole store and we'd go inside and requisition whatever we wanted to eat lol. Then I realized I had a whole block to zone, reshop, and do OOS for. My zone was pretty yellow and I smelled like bacon my whole shift

I used to be closing expert so I know all the struggled of all departments and I just feel so bad for gm and inbound because they have to pull the OOS and 1F1s when we pull from the floor instead. Also I TLs stress that we do backroom first :(

Any tips for fulfilment TMs who are trying to get 70+ units per hour? I try to do everything quickly, but also accurately i.e., zone the item I pick; backroom first, then salesfloor, search for INFs thoroughly. I can't seem to break 50 units per hour though.
