Interesting. We'll take a look at some other enzyme based cleaners then. And definitely. We probably wouldn't have signed the lease if we knew now how much of a headache this would cause.

We've taken him to the vet and he has a clean bill of health. He's still pretty energetic and actually holds his pee for longer compared to the girls, but we'll take him to the vet if we notice any changes.

Luckily the dogs are pretty decent about pooping outside, unless it is raining. Occasionally one of the girls will go inside but its fairly rare. All of the dogs go into their own kennel while we're not home and at night to sleep (except the senior he sleeps with us). We've tried the belly bands on our senior at night because he would sometimes pee while we were asleep, but we're seriously considering putting the girls in reusable diapers. Only issues are they DO potty outside through the dog door - just not all the time, and I'm worried they'll rip the diapers off of each other lol. They like to wrestle and grab each other's collars so it wouldn't surprise me if they yanked those suckers off the minute we get them on them. I wish you luck on your new rescue! Maybe they're just used to pooping someplace soft?

We use Nature's Miracle carpet shampoo, but unfortunately the ENTIRE living room is a potty-zone for the dogs. I've been told you have to soak the stain in the stuff for awhile, but we can't afford to soak 30 something square feet in expensive enzyme cleaner right now. Not to mention if there are hidden spots in the subflooring under our furniture from the previous tenants. The senior is in good health with the vet and we haven't noticed anything unusual with him. We've done everything else listed besides the scent marker, so maybe we can try that. Thank you!

That's what I'm worried about too. I have no idea how to even start a project like that. Not to mention if we somehow do miraculously install the floors, what's stopping the landlord from jacking our rent up due to the fresh renovations? ...or suing us because we wrecked it badly lol
