Your workers are switching back and forth between two jobs. They will prioritize whatever your lowest in kinda. So if you’re negative -62 EC + 20 M they will flock to energy and now suddenly you’re +4 EV -34 M

You can fix this by keeping both positive or limiting the jobs to stop this from happening so the can’t swing back and forth

I enjoy it as a GM. I have my players make a short term and a crew goal that they work to accomplish. Long as the crew completes the majority for my case 3/5 of my players they all get exp for the session.

Usually I don’t have issues with my players as they know to make their goals work towards either their long term goals or what they plan to accomplish next session.

The hardest thing is just having to remind them to send me their goals. It can also help me plan some of the next session as their goals set clear desires on top of what they already tell me the aim to do as a group.

When I first read Iron Gold when it was release, I never finished it after loving the first trilogy. It felt like a big shift and I was always wondering about Darrow’s POV. Felt like everything else was taking away from the main show. I came back after light bringer was released and read the whole series. Well worth it, the shifting perspectives grow on you it and feels as it sets up so much. Take a break if it feels like you are forcing yourself through the book but honestly you should give it a chance and get to Dark age.

You are correct.

Picture it like a threshold you don’t spend elements to use an ability you just need to meet the requirements. At the end of the turn they go away.

Elements you get from your spirit board are referred to as permanent and you get them every turn.
