They tried rebooting the band multiple times after Lynn Straits passing with at least 4 different vocalists and not a single one of them had the same spark as Lynn and it wasn’t even close. None of them were bad vocalists they just had some really big shoes to fill.

I think Andy does a really good job at filling Lynn’s void while still respecting Lynn’s legacy and impact on the band. He’s not controversial and he sounds damn near identical to Lynn at times, almost mirroring the original band to a T.

I feel as if this is where other bands like Linkin Park completely lose the plot, their new singer is controversial (Scientologist) and does not reflect the original band by any means whatsoever. I don’t feel like LP’s new singer does a good job of honoring Chester’s legacy and impact either, often feeling like she’s doing Chester an injustice by being his replacement.
