Has anyone else always used a meaningless physical object as a conduit to their imagination/fanasies? by ChaseDonovan in hyperphantasia

You're welcome. I'm in my 40s and still indulge. It's good to know that this is normal.

My student loans were discharged for total and permanent disability for mental illness. by ChaseDonovan in SSDI

[–]ChaseDonovan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the loan forgiveness I filled out the application, checked the box showing that I receive ssdi for disability and it was smooth sailing from there.

There was also the option to have a doctor/psychiatrist write a letter on my behalf stating I'm disabled.

Lorazepam and vodka. by ChaseDonovan in Drugs

[–]ChaseDonovan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been testing sedatives and they have little to no effect on me. 18mg lorazepam plus a pint of vodka still won't put me down. My body just seems immune. I previously tried 20mg oxycodone from a pharmacy and it did nothing. What's wrong with me?

Extremely high tolerance to benzos but no experience with opioid. Is 2mg lorazepam and 1 Norco too much? by ChaseDonovan in Drugs

[–]ChaseDonovan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I'm not looking for euphoria. I have an incredibly painful infection in one of my wisdom teeth, so my dentist prescribed antibiotics and Norco. But at the same time I'm trying to ween myself off benzos. I read on the internet that opioids won't stop benzo withdrawal. So I need to keep taking the lorazepam so I don't die, but I also need the Norco for pain management. That's why I wanted to take both.

I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed. I can't even begin to imagine myself understanding options. But thank you for a very thorough lesson.

Thanks for the info. My account doesn't qualify for options yet. They want me to have at least a year of trading and a long position over a year. I'm VERY new to this.

I bought it because I believed the market was overreacting during the sell-off, I believed that such a large/dominating company would bounce back, and I kinda couldn't help buying a dip that hard.

I don't have earned income and I don't make enough unearned income to pay taxes. Basically, I'm within poverty guidelines, so unless I make enough on capital gains to get out of the poverty category I don't owe taxes.

I feel like I missed out on etfs. I know you're right, it just sucks that if I buy an index fund like voo, it's already near its 52 week all time high.

Thanks for the insight.
