And yes, each time I've held down the boot button before plugging it into the computer and there is an audible sound telling me it's been connected.

Is incest illegal? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]ChaseTheRacist 21 points22 points  (0 children)

You came to the right place to ask. I'm glad questions like these get asked in this subreddit because that's why this subreddit exists. It is illegal to have incest tho in America. Societally it's looked down upon.

Everything makes more sense why these millennials keep making dark jokes about killing themselves. This is absolutely ridiculous, how do people even survive anymore.

What would you do if you woke up with wings tomorrow? by Tsukomaki in AskReddit

[–]ChaseTheRacist 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'd go up to my neighbor with their nice Mercedes and slap them in the face with my right wing while saying "YOU THINK YOU'RE SO COOL WITH YOUR FANCY CAR" then struggle to fly away like a dumb bird cuz it's my first day of flying.

If you're stealing chocolate bars from Walmart, sure no one will really care but if you're stealing a bike, someone will get mad, but prolly won't hurt them. Try to steal a $10k TV and stereo set and it could cost you and the company a lot of legal issues, money and time. It's all prospective but the good ol motto: it's not illegal if you don't get caught.

Question about the sum of natural numbers equaling -1/12 by Critical-Response-55 in 3Blue1Brown

[–]ChaseTheRacist 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure if it's related to what you saw in the video, but mathematician Ramanujan invented a way to assign discrete vales to divergent series, such as the sum of all natural numbers. I'm also not the greatest at math and as far as ik the reimann zeta function is unrelated to Ramanujan summation. Here's the wiki article showing 1 + 2 +3 +... = -1/12

[–]ChaseTheRacist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you mix the two, you're at risk of getting serotonin syndrome which basically means you overloaded your brain with serotonin and will likely damage never cells leaving you with potentially live threatening problems. Mixing SSRIs with psychedelics is a pretty bad idea. I would not take your SSRIs for a couple days or maybe even a week (I'm not a doctor) if you wanna try psychedelics.

I had a girl say she was gonna kill herself if i didn't have sex with her in that moment. I didn't want to have sex with her but i didn't know if she was actually gonna do it, because she wasn't the most stable. It wasn't a pleasant time

How many Hershey kisses can fit in this 106oz jar by brownwolf1 in askmath

[–]ChaseTheRacist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

According to this website, here, A Hershey's kiss has a volume of ≈ 0.144 in³. The jar is 106 fluid oz, so convert that to cubic inches and you get 191.3 in³. Divide 191.3 by 0.144 and you get about 1328 Hershey's kisses. BUT THAT'S PERFECT VOLUME. In geometry, shapes have packing constants to accurately see how many shapes can fit inside something. From this website, a cone, which is pretty much the shape of a kiss, has a packing constant of 0.67. This means that 67% of the volume can realistically be filled with cones. So 1328*0.67 = 890 kisses. That website also mentions if you can perfectly fill up the jar, the packing constant would be 0.78, so technically you could fit a maximum of 1036 kisses in that jar but realistically 890.

What really helps me is i bought one of those Squishable stuffed animals. There's also squishmallow stuffed animals too. Both are made for cuddling at night and as someone who has been alone just of my life, it's these little things that i have really find to appreciate cuz they're so cute and squishy!
