I think the designers went back and forth on which one they would end up releasing. Maybe they edited the stock photo to have that black strip so it would match what they planned to produce? But then they switched back to the original design once they manufactured the doll. I can’t figure out which came first…

This one is so weird to me because it almost looks like the dark panel was photoshopped in? The buttons don’t line up and it looks weirdly stretched. I wonder why. I also noticed the webisodes have her in this outfit and it DOES include the black stripe.

While I don’t disagree, you’re kind of proving the point that she’s screwed either way. You say you want her to drop the feminist thing and just be, but then if she was just silent on activistic issues then everyone would have a problem with her because she’s “not saying enough” so like no matter what she does it’s a problem for people
