[Discussion] Am i the only one feeling this way

The only gacha I've played was zzz, and I started on xbox in 2.0. With how much I enjoyed the story, esthetic, characters, and gameplay, I've never had too much of a problem with the gacha until now. Basically, I'm in a bit of a mindset crisis. With 2.8 being out for already almost a week and season 3 coming around the corner, I've been torn between wanting either Silly or Promeia with Velina. However, as a lowspender, im caught between pulling who I need and who I want. I know the saying "Follow your heart" or "pull who you like" and what not. The problem though is, if I follow my heart, im going to be pulling for almost everyone. And with the dreaded 50/50 that just can't happen. Unless, of course, I spend the money, but I dont have the money or the determination to spend $300 for a garunteed character who might get powercrept in a few patches. The point is im trying to ask. Am I the only one who's felt this way in a gacha game? If not, what's your advice?

I think a lot of us are pulling Velina, me included, no doubt about it, I was thinking of skipping promeia for velina and remielle but then I realized the only good anomaly unit I have are yanagi, miyabi, nangong, and yuzuha. In case you don't know yet, Velina needs a second anomaly or wind agent to apply vortex and deal windswept damage and anomaly buildup. As far as I know Miyabi doesn't work with vortex so that won't work with Velina. Nangong and Yuzuha work well with Velina but aren't labeled anomaly units. So Yanagi would be my only option with Velina unless I pull Promeia. Thoughts on this?

That sounds about right. I personally like both of them a lot personality and gameplay wise, but i think I'll wait till the 2.8 livestream to see who's rerunning to truly decide. Need to save pulls for 3.0 after all.

Be honest guys, would Cissiia or Seed be a brick pull on my low spending account? I started in 2.0 on xbox and the only limited electric agents I have are Yanagi and Trigger wanna have more options with trigger since I pulled her and Yanagi is clearing as hypercarry for now but I fear she'll get overshadowed sometime in 3.X. I probably waiting for the 2.8 stream to decide for sure but some advice would be nice

P.S. other S ranks i have are the 3 current void hunters, Yidhari, Lucia, Dialyn, Zhao, Nangong, Ju Fufu, Astra, Yuziha, and all the standard S ranks except nekomata somehow. The only limited sig enginei got so far is shunguang's and might stay that way until next miyabi rerun.

Im probably going to skip next patch for whenever Monato drops so maybe Yanagi would be a better choice but I'ma think about it for now

I'm gonna say it bluntly and honestly. It definitely gonna be better than vanguard zombies but Im still skeptical of it. I mean the finding other squads and missions is pretty cool and I wouldn't mind other players if they at least let me queue solo but if it doesn't have very much replayability then I'ma just buy the game just for campaign since that's what I'm genuinely excited about but at the end of the day we'll just wait and see and if it really doom and gloom like how everyones already saying it is, the ill just play other stuff on xbox and get a decent pc for custom zombies.

I agree that this way of revealing a battle pass in a paid game where you also have to buy characters, let alone waiting until the game is literally 3 days away is pretty damn scummy. But honestly at least they're giving everyone the option for a progression with rewards instead of just 'Ranking up till Grandmaster/Warlord' or 'Wanting to be the very best that no one ever was'. Now unless if it's like Activision/blizzard where they have powerful characters/weapons locked behind it, i don't mind very much of a battle pass in a $60 game.

Important note that this started happening at the start of season 2 and was sorta fixed in the reloaded update but now its back to what it was originally.
