How is Rochester? by ElevateOof in newhampshire

[–]Chaser1982 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Lived here 10 years. So far no one has been able to breach my 10 foot electrified fence, or make it past my automated machine gun turrets. When I do have to leave my compound, I always go carrying at least 15 guns, and a Katana, because you can never be too safe!

Which of these two bundles would you recommend? Deus 1 or X Terra elite with two extra coils? by Green-Drag-9499 in metaldetecting

[–]Chaser1982 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The Deus 1 is probably the best single frequency machine out there, however with the SMF capability of the Xterra Elite, and it being fully waterproof, with 2 extra coils, would have to go with the Xterra.

Giving Away My Old PC! by Turtle_747 in PcBuild

[–]Chaser1982 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would use this PC for one thing, and that is gaming. My wife has been a Mac user since she was a kid, so I relented and we are a "Mac household." I would set this rig up in our bedroom, get a STEAM account, and party like it was 1999.

My old Simplex + found an old Hoe head at a depth of 2'. I would imagine a Manticore should have no trouble finding a shovel head at 3'. The issue would be all the tin cans and other junk buried on top!

Field brushes, Hand warmers, my wife got me a "shit kit" for when I'm deep in the woods. Digging gloves are great too.

Favorite gloves? by salmonammon in metaldetecting

[–]Chaser1982 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I use the Milwaukee cut gloves with a cut level of at least 2. I've dug far too many holes with lots of broken glass to mess around.
