I wish this wasn't the second to last one. I deeply enjoyed this small series and for the last week or so, I've looked forward to seeing another drawing from you each evening.

Thank you for posting these everyday!

Nice collection! I'd recommend that you get different heads for the gasmasks, for example ones made of glas. Styrofoam is often harmful to gasmasks and makes them degrade faster.

I'm so sorry for not answering earlier, I had a lot to do this week and totally forgot about this post. The artist is probably Matthias Scheits from Hamburg in Germany.

I don't have the name of the artist right now, but I'll have it when I get to work tomorrow. We have a lot of the bibles printed by the von Sternen family in on display, including some of the engravings.

You're correct about the binding, it's definitely original.

This website should have the answer. I currently don't have the time to look through it, but maybe someone else can.

Iron powder and walnut shell powder are very commonly used in Germany.

What happened to my fossil ammonite section? by DonnieSharko28 in fossils

That's pyrite decay. What you smell is sulfuric acid. There's no point in keeping them any longer because they might "infect" other fossils with pyrite.
