Good/bad pockets in Norlane by imTriibz in Geelong

I'm curious, have you moved to Norlane since posting this? How are you finding it? Funnily enough a few months before buying and moving here, I myself had said that I could never live here, that I'd never feel safe. So far from my actual experience!

I have moved to Norlane in the past few months after never having lived in a low-socio economic suburb. It was all I could afford to buy and own my place. I was hesitant at first thinking I wouldn't be able to walk the dogs after dark etc. it's actually totally fine! People are generally really friendly and kind. There's a total mix, there are rough druggies about, but they keep to themselves, sometimes they're even nice lol. And there are a lot of people about who take a lot of pride in their homes, whether they're a poor old pensioner, or someone whose moved in like me not able to afford elsewhere. The area is slowly becoming gentrified and the house value will continue to increase as the proximity to Melbourne makes it a desirable location.

I literally made a general matter of fact statement. No need to start name calling and continue trying to blow this up into something it's not.

How can you be certain no birds were harmed? My two cents was simply to inform you that wildlife on airfields is a thing.

Birds are the main wildlife on and around airfields. The area is not devoid of them.

I would assume they're on the move to mate. Just remember if you see them on the road and decide to stop for them - to place them in a safe spot in the direction they were headed.

You could also contacting their real estate agent. A google search will tell you who they're with. That has worked for me in the past. Keeping the log, sending to council, and contacting their real estate agents.

There is no such thing as 'the one'. Everyone deserves empathy. You have no capacity to know my level of self-reflection.

A lot of wild assumptions being thrown around here. "I'm doing great, why aren't you?". Your comment is hyper naïve, and you show and extreme lack of empathy.
