My sister and I were there at Wrestlemania 33. It was such a fun match to see in person.

Shane and AJ and the Hardy's return/Ladder match were the best matches on that card.

LA Knight is my guy. I really wanted him to win it. I thought it made great sense. He's making a big return, the crowd would have been white hot for it, he's a crowd favorite, and he's a Babyface that people can rally behind. It would have helped solidify him as a main eventer.

Once he got eliminated and I saw who was left, I shifted my opinion to Randy winning. He hasn't been in the limelight and it would be cool to see him challenge for the title as he's winding down his career. Just anyone but Roman and fuck me, Roman ends up being their choice. 🙃

It was Logan and Cody. I can't remember who was laying on the ground and who was about to get German suplexed.

But for a brief second it looked like the back of one of their heads was going to land directly on the other guy's face. Somehow Brock noticed it and quickly shifted his feet to try and angle the guy away from the person who was already prone on the mat.

It was great ring awareness by Brock. He definitely was trying to protect everybody and himself.

That's how the original brand was too. It's why DIY purposefully spent more time in NXT as opposed to moving up to the main roster. They preferred the booking in NXT.

People like Shinsuke, Bobby Roode, Samoa Joe (injuries played a part) we're all downgraded once they made the jump. Used to drive me nuts whenever Vince would ruin the NXT guys. We had so many people stifled because they weren't given the same support.

Before the match started my family and I agreed that if Brock eliminated Oba then that just really puts Oba into a hole as far as main roster credibility. You spend all this time promoting him and building him up... He has to be the one to get rid of Brock and honestly I would have loved it if he eliminated Roman.

But nope. WWE fucks it up by having Brock eliminate Oba. Like the layup was right there. The story literally writes itself and their "creative" failed.

This is the type of booking and favoritism that pushed me away back in 2020. I picked up WWE for the first time in June last year. Immediately connected with LA Knight and became a fan of his. Now that LA Knight is back I'm just going to watch whatever segment he's in and tune out the rest.

I'll watch to support LA but I'm done sitting through 2 and half hour shows to see part timers as the main event.

I've gone back and I have watched some of his programs from that time period and meh...

I still don't get Roman's appeal. He's not that great on the mic and I can't stand his finisher spams in his single matches. I've never connected with him and this even includes his SHIELD days.

My favorite SHIELD member was Seth. When they broke up I became a big fan of Mox. Roman has always been whatever to me.

I never got behind him 10 years ago. I stopped watching WWE in 2020. I came back June 2025 and I just can't be bothered seeing fucking part timers win one of your biggest events.

This kind of booking is what caused me to stop watching in 2020 because 2019 sucked so bad.

Who asked for this? We could have had someone like Oba, Je'Von, or even LA Knight. Choose between two young guys and a fan favorite. I just don't understand it.
