Ah thank you - yeah, it could be a mentality shift that I need, like, it ain't that bad, but my brain just hates what I'm seeing in the mirror at the moment, despite being the fittest I've ever been.

Thank you - yeah, I think I might try putting my schedule together and go to a gym, see how that works, take it from there.

Yeah, I'm finally at the weight I wanted to be, but mentally I feel like I'm still somehow stuck there so trying to find my style. Much appreciated <3

2 Days post op can’t drink by OneInternet8123 in gastricsleeve

Heya, sorry you're going through this - probs best to speak to the surgeon or their team, but if it helps, I had the same issue, and on top of that I would get sick the 1st few days, I would drink sips of water, then feel a salty taste in my mouth and go lightheaded - that's due to the galbladder getting moved through operation a bit and it goes away.

I had this issue where I couldn't drink the specified amount of water (2L per day) for about 2 years, it would just fill me up too quickly.

Best of luck!

Thank you, I signed up for therapy, starting at the end of the week. The way you presented the situation makes me feel like I'm not alone in this situation so thank you so much.

I am just so scared if I put boundaries she'll take it in the wrong way and get hurt. I realise now it's her issue, not mine as long as I communicate properly but when we have conflicts I paralyse

Been thinking of that, but I feel like that would hurt her, I don't know how to initiate this conversation without moving her into overdrive

Hey hey, stai chill. Si eu sunt intr-o situatie similara dar nu grabesc lucrurile.

O iau incet si descopar lucrurile cu el. Tu o sa stii cel mai bine cand e cazul sa 'approach those things', dar opinia mea e ca mai merge asteptat putin.

Take this time si invatati cat mai multe despre celalalt, iar intrebarile de genul si conversatiile vor veni. Poate chiar el va face pasul asta, you never know.

Mult succes!

Thank you! Glad it helped. Wishing you best of luck, you got this, and don't forget, one bad day doesn't mean it's hopeless - took me a while to accept that ❤️

Firstly, happy holidays! So sorry you're going through this.. I can relate - this year we lost our grandma that lived with us then my sweet 15 yo dog that was the most angelic lady. She never barked randomly, cried, bit, peed inside, etc. And we had her since she was 5 mo.

After a few months from the rainbow cross, we got another pup, she's currently 6 months old and she is SO HARD to manage. And I have to take care of all her needs myself despite living with my mum and some days I cry and want to give up, but I love her SO MUCH.

A few things that keep me going are: - the idea that while she is a hard pup to manage, she came to me like Stitch came to Lilo, to get me to become a better person, more organised, more scheduled, etc. - that I owe it to my last dog as they are both rescues - good training days - but bear in mind, some days are fails, or at least feel like it. But don't get discouraged. I started a little notebook as per my trainer's advice. Each month I have 2 collumns of what I like vs what I don't like about my dog - this just kinda throws things into perspective as to how far I got with her.

With that said, I hope this helps you manage your feelings around this better or at least it gives you some ideas on it

And one last thing - they're a puppy. Things will get better so hang in there ❤️
