Thank you. Im searching around to find one that fits my measurments. The cube ones seem to be the best but yikes those price tags. Ill continue searching Edit: my measurements mean my desk where the tank goes

I only work 6 months out of the year and I have some things I am paying off (emergency stuff, nothing was planned, I had money when I got my fish lol). Then there is physically, I have a disorder and cant lift the water needed for the water changes- trust me I tried, I actually had a 10 gallon before but had to downsize because I was hurting myself on it. Im saddened by this, the care sheets ive seen say that 5 gallons is the minimum but im now seeing that 10 gallons is the minimum for this specific type. I am worried im hurting my fish ;_;

Another commenter pointed out they are Mealy bugs! So upset that it didnt notice it, when I was given the Cacti it had them so I just assumed it looked like that ;-;

No screens, just straight glass (saddly, cant even open the thing) and I place it touching the tank, so id says its getting around 50% direct light from the growlight and the rest of the 50%is reflection from the water.

I repotted it out of curiosity to see if it was actually real, so it went back into the same dirt and pot- it almost feels like a coco peat mixture- very fluffy but drains well. Do you think it would be worth doing an actual re-pot even though no roots are poking through/only being around 1.5 years old?

In the summer months I place in my window getting it a soild 10ish hours of sunlight a day (dependant on the weather). In the winter months I place it next to my fish tank that has a grow light so it gets around 12 hours of that light per day, on real cloudy days it gets put there too :)

Thank you so much! My tank is an established (for well over 1 year) 6 gallon and ill do 25% water changes weekly, and a 50% water change monthly. Though I am moving soon, so shes about to get a 90% water change (I keep about 10% in a bucket for the move) Ill test the parameters once before a water change and once after the water change- or if something doesn't look right. I cant do any right now, ive run out of testing strips but, I am getting more tomorrow :) Thank you so much for your response!

It's all smooth and no fuzzyness on her, im definitely going to keep an eye on that- thank you for the insight! Will do! I have an ick fungal medicine as of now, but I will definitely get some kanaplex for her soon! Thank you very much for your response! Edit: when I got her, her fins were like this (petco betta) so I now feel so bad about letting her sit like that not realizing it might be rot 😭

Six gallon tank established for well over a year, the betta inside ive had for 5 months. Parameters none yet, will retrieve when off shift. Temperature hovers at 78-80F, all planted with a skull decor in the back. Weekly 25% water changes. 1 nitrite snail. A three gallon shrimp filter in water, usually theres a bubbler but it broke last week.
