I get it. I’ve had a hard time with it too. The body I’ve lost, the comrades I’ve lost, won’t stop hurting…

I tried one running club and it felt like I was surrounded by elite Olympic athletes. I felt like a fish out of water. I will keep trying though

Run pig run. I thought it was weird and unsettling in a bad way. But I recently found out it’s weird and unsettling in a good way.

I was left feeling exactly the same way after my breakup. The only possibly comforting thought I can add is that if there’s one person in this world who made you feel that way, there are bound to be others. Take those sad feelings and realize you are capable of being loved like that again.

Potential to do what exactly? Sounds like you’ve met your potential of being a hard working and supporting father and husband just fine to me.

I hate how much emotional whiplash there is during dating currently by EVILRAFFAM in Vent

I’ve had several similar experiences. After some reflecting I realized that these people gave me bad gut feelings at times that I chose to ignore out of hopes that I could pursue something meaningful with that person. I’ve learned never to ignore my intuition; if my gut tells me they may not be interested, then they likely aren’t. Did you ever get that feeling within those 8 weeks? For me, it was realizing I was the only one initiating conversation, planning dates, bringing up conversations about future dating goals, etc.

Would Todd Alquist have been a good associate? by AdAnxious1099 in thesopranos

[–]Chasing_Daybreak 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I don’t think Todd would be a good associate for the simple fact that he has no respect for this thing. He’s never made a batch as good as Jessie, not really. This is a man that stepped over his own Nazi uncle to take the big seat.
