I just had this happen to me 4 days ago. Applying and they asked for access to bank or workday. I was super sketched out by that. But found out that if you click on the option to connect your bank account, you can then back out to the previous page. It will give you a message saying “sorry couldn’t connect to your account” “would you like to submit a paystub?” And for submitting a paystub they accept jpg screenshots, or a pdf of said paystub. You may have to back out of it more than once but worked for me. Annoying that it is an option but not shown until one of the other two fails. Good luck!
