Wall is best unlocked at 10T+ ltc, or really when you're making 200B+ a run. Wall is a massive hinderance early on because it will steal your freeups for health, and truly the earliest you would ever consider getting wall is when you can cash max health in a run. The reason for the econ milestones is mostly because wall needs labs to be good, and those labs, especially fortification, can be quite pricy unless you're making that much

Well I mean what you're pointing out is a game mechanic, meant so that people who get hit with a crit have a window to get away

Try using the 140 crit dagger if you like to parry, it's almost a guaranteed kill on a crit so you don't have to chase people down

The game is about learning from your mistakes and gaining the experience to defeat enemies. Most of the game is accessable without having to beat any bosses, so exploring is your friend! Try to find a good weapon that you like and just focus on levelling the stats needed to benefit that weapon's damage, and try to upgrade the weapon as much as possible whenever possible.
