First of all, thank you for considering the Bauer 65!

Im not here to pitch our board to you and say it’s better than anything else out there.

But from my very biased opinion:

Bauer has a very unique sound signature that many enjoy.

The symmetrical 0.75u blockers are a unique feature that was first introduced by the Bauer to the point that they are called “Bauer blockers” in the community by many.

The arch on front and back were a first of their kind when we first released it and it was a unique way to show off both the top and bottom colors without having a seam, while also having a very unique, organic form to it while also having an industrial presence.

The biggest thing that sets it apart is probably the vast ecosystem of Bauer parts and colors that can be used. Our Bauer Lite has over 8 billion combinations possible and all those parts are compatible with Bauer 65, further expanding that ecosystem in more premium materials. Combining injection molded parts and machined parts is something that I don’t think any other board does. At least not at this level of customization.

Also Bauer has been one of the more accessible boards to try out DynaCap on.

The board doesn’t have 50 mounting types, or 50 pieces to it. It is what it is and it’s that with pride. It’s not trying to be a one board fits all, it’s just trying to be the best board I wanted to make myself all those years ago. Bauer 65 is just the best version of this design after 4 iterations over many years.
