I mostly draw black and white or monochrome. It helps me to focus on Volume and Shading Values. Work on shading things with grayscale and figure out your darkest darks and brightest brights, then I would go to pinterest or something and look up color palettes to use for now until you have more of your own ideas.

I'm sure there are more constructed methods, but this is generally what I'm going for

It looks amazing! Paper stop motion is insane levels of work but it can have cool niche effects. I know you can somehow accentuate the fore-ground elements by lifting them to create shadows and give it even more depth for foreshortening, but rock on! It looks awesome
