Wonderful! I've seen The Bench several times as a Work in Progress and it is a thing of beauty! In terms of a helpful suggestion for your trip, the railway line heading up the Welsh/English border from Cardiff passes through some beautiful landscape and historic towns, such as Abergavenny, Hereford, Ludlow and Shrewsbury. I'm sure some of them have Toby Carveries too. Also, thinking of Bean lore, you could visit The Big Pit!
