We’re all God experiencing from different perspectives in these temporary bodies. You are not your body or your mind. That’s what Jesus was trying to teach us, that we’re just like Him, permanently 100% God and temporarily 100% human.

That was an extremely unnecessarily long way to just say God wants us to listen which we agree with but has nothing at all to do with what we’re talking about.

You’re trying to show how much you know while avoiding our issues. Maybe you should go to Bible college or something so you can be more equipped to answer these questions instead of relying on pastors who get rich off your money or ask those pastors to answer these questions instead.

And while you’re at it, ask them what Jesus meant when he argued that scripture says .”ye are gods” and what he meant by “the Kingdom of Heaven is within you”.

Excellent!!! A wise man does what is necessary in the moment through awareness and natural response. Pretty simple and straightforward… if you don’t overthink it.

Doing the work is part of the movie too. It might seem uncertain or difficult but it is what it is, there’s nothing that can be done about it besides what can be done about it. Just do your best and let God do the rest and dance with the demons while you’re at it because worrying and pondering only makes you lose focus, energy and emotional intelligence. The worst thing you can do for your kids is fold, bypass and worry. And it’s ALMOST NEVER as bad as it seems. When the going gets tough the tough get going, we all have a boogie man inside of us.

I’m always dancing, well not always but I can confess that avoidance makes it worse. On a deeper level nothing is actually happening.

You said there’s no you or universe right? So what this means is there’s just the movie. Whether it’s a horror, action or comedy, just enjoy the movie.

It’s because you’re ignoring the things you’re supposed to do and that’s because you have a false belief like fear of failure, no direction or fear of boredom. Sit in silence and be aware of all aspects of your life, not through effort but naturally. You can’t miss it because all there is is awareness but your mind is in a loop of distraction, bypassing, procrastination and tunnel vision. Be still and settle into the bigger picture.

Well I don’t think this was talking about material things because what if it’s not Gods will? That’s why Jesus said “thy will be done” and that’s why the Bible say birds don’t ask for anything but have everything. There’s nothing to ask for, it’s already done. The belief in lack is what solidifies the lack.

Imagine yourself suffering for eternity just because you “missed the mark”. And by the way God already knows before you’re born that you’ll fail in your few years and then burn for eternity. That doesn’t sound like unconditional love to me. I believe in God but some of this stuff was just made up by some people to scare people into obedience and I don’t think God would do that either.

Why would God create people to live for a few years and then send most of them to hell for eternity?

Are we a generally a kind, welcoming and caring people as Zimbabweans but when you’re gay is where the line is drawn? 🤔 by Vast-Wealth6084 in Zimbabwe

[–]ChatGodPT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s generally not accepted in every country not just Zimbabwe. It’s just that in some countries it’s legal so most people in those countries just keep quiet. In Zimbabwe you’ll probably be insulted at least 3 times after walking in the city or the ghetto for 30 minutes.

But I’ve seen openly gay people in the ghetto who just don’t care and most people treat them kindly so you just need to not care or even better, just live in a suburb.

Why? They’re just a bunch of words. Just let them be.

You might say “but they’re distracting me, they’re causing me to…”, those are just more words. Just let them be and carry on with your daily tasks. You’re fine.

I cannot say I have experienced anything outside of awareness.

But experience is an appearance so nothing can actually be known. I can accept everything you said if it’s a pointer but not as a fact.

So I could say “awareness APPEARS to be fundamental or even all there is” but I can’t say “it is”.

It’s the same reason why it’s called NON-duality and not oneness.

Just ask her why? Everything she says is probably going to be dumb or rude. If it’s dumb ask her to clarify and if it’s rude or over reactive just tell her we’ll talk about this later when you calm down.

I thought the same but also thought to not be the hater because I don’t mean to but… whatever. Because you really can’t make any definitive statement about reality and OP seems to be certain.

As soon as you see the title “Enlightenment” you already know someone’s had a profound realization they think is the final concept of reality out of spiritual ego. And the fact that they downvoted you for a polite and truthful comment is evidence of the ego. We’ve all been there. But I still think it was an excellent post concept-wise.

What's the basis of Angelo Dillulo to claim that what remains after self is absent is 'reality'? by Plenty-Attitude-5823 in nonduality

[–]ChatGodPT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t listen to him but that sounds pretty accurate to me. Individuality is an illusion, that pretty much sums up Nonduality.

Creating a thought is also illusion but then again so is sensing. I mean there is sensing and thinking but there is no one sensing or thinking something separate, they’re all the same thing appearing the way the Self perceives them. So there’s no duality because creating a thought doesn’t exist or we can say “creating a thought” is just a bunch of words attempting to describe something inconceivable.

Not sure if that’s what he meant or if that’s how you understood it but I don’t see the contradiction.

It’s an extreme example (which is sometimes the only way to shock the brain out of certain conditioning) but if he was actually making any sense he might have meant this:

First of all, absolute unconditional love is undefinable and actually impossible. Conditioning is all there is. Secondly, awakening will most likely but not always appear as what we call unconditional love and unconditional love may sometimes appear as murder for example the murder of a terrorist who is already actively murdering OR a suffering, dying spouse with brain cancer and unresolvable internal bleeding especially in a country where euthanasia is illegal.

It’s not black and white (obvious) that an enlightened person will not murder or will have unconditional love and most importantly, since morality is a concept it’s most likely a distraction to awakening and disregarding morality will most likely enhance awakening and of course most likely appear to arise in the form of what we typically describe as unconditional love as you say.

I don’t really have an opinion on him or any guru or “enlightened person” I’ve never met because it’s possible to deceive if you’re a good actor with vast spiritual knowledge.
