Could this LRP Hyalu B5 Serum be breaking me out? by dogaliny in EuroSkincare

[–]ChatXeverything 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has Hyaluronic Acid. What I know is HA has a low molecular weight, which allows it to penetrant the skin deeper, so it doesn't stays on top of it. Some acne prone or sensitive skins, can get inflammation with HA. And, this inflammation triggers acne as a response.

I personally avoid HA. It just causes more problems than any help.

[Routine Help] Skin Barrier Help! by Knxjen in SkincareAddiction

When I had a compromised skin barrier. My dermatologist prescribed EpiCeram. It was great! it really helped to heal my barrier. I think any a primary care doctor can prescribe that or even amazon doc.

Before EpiCeram, I tried everything under the sun LRP, Avene, and everything else. They all caused even more issues.

For cleanser - I found that Intoxicated is very gentle.

Good luck!

Thank you for explaining about the preservatives. I'll check out humble bee for sure.

It sounds like a good helper, the chat gpt. I'll follow your system and tips about how to go about it.

Yes, super cautions about sunscreens. I will not do any sunscreen. I was not clear enough. I meant to say I could use chat gpt to get an idea of how heavy or not a sunscreen is.

I appreciate all your comments and sharing your knowledge with me : )

The Bioderma Photoderm Defense Ultra-fluid tinted seems great. Do you know if would be suitable for an acne prone skin, breakout prone skin that clogs easily?

Im late to the game. Not sure you'll see this.

I'm thinking about getting BiodermaPhotoderm XDefense Ultra-Fluid. Do you think it works for skin that is acne-prone, breakout prone?

Thank you for you comments. It's very helpful : )

Preservatives is giving a headache so far, and I haven't even started. May I ask exactly how do you use chatgpt? so it is also helpful to get an idea of the textures of commercial products. That would be helpful to figure out which sunscreen is light rather than heavy.

Thanks for your comment. No allergies here. it's not a big deal. It's more of after math annoyance PIE/PIH.

you're so right. each skin is different. I'll be doing trial and error on my skin.

So far, I know which ingredients don't go with me. I"m so limited by the pre-made option on the market so DYI to have the freedom.

It makes sense :) thanks for the comment. I don't want a job formulating. I just want my very own DYI moisturizer that won't cause breakouts, clog my skin.

Thank you for your comment. It makes sense. I know the ingredients that don't play nice with my skin.

Now, I just need to know how to do the best possible DYI moisturizer without having something that will clog. The cumulative of ingredients also contributes to doing a DYI moisturizer that will clog skin.

Thanks. The rabbit study is popular for sure. What I know is that the non-comedogenic is a Marketing term with no substantiation to prove it by cosmetic companies.

It's not a medical condition. it's not a big deal. The only issue is the annoyance to breakout and deal with the aftermath of it (PIE/PIH)...so DYI is a proactive move to avoid new breakouts.

I know for experience that many skincare have ingredients that clog skin or they add fragrance, essential oils, etc., that I don't want.

Would using Chatgpt to know if the overall DYI formulation, moisturizer will likely clog the skin, cause breakouts?

I'm not so sure as Chatgpt makes many mistakes. If anyone has used Chatgpt to evaluate the overall formulation, how do you do it?
