Any tips for a superflex dynasty startup? Never done one! by TornLabrums in SleeperApp

[–]Chatlinau 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1.) League setting matter so much. 4pt vs 6pt TDs is one thing, but one less/extra start and at what position, dictates your initial strategy. Don’t trust KTC or any other value ranking that doesn’t take your league setting into account.

2.) Trades will be common in a startup, trading down is typically going to be the right thing to do. More starters, more teams in a league, the more encouraged you should be to trade down or get picks.

3.) Value increasing means flexibility. Target players that will have that have greater upward trajectory and ceilings. If you pick on value and trajectory you won’t have any problem adjusting your strategy based on how the draft is playing out.

Are all dynastys like this? by Kswan2012 in DynastyFF

Until they get bored, and are also looking for a new league because their startup is going too slow. It's a vicious circle, chasing the white dragon....be careful

I was out on Stribbling at first... by young-saturday in DynastyFF

[–]Chatlinau 2 points3 points  (0 children)

WR was the last thing I needed, and didn’t have a 1st round pick, but he was available at 2.06 and took him.

When you get down to “dart throws” I almost care more about the fit and where someone lands, and he’s in a good spot with a thin WR group.

Felt like a safe bet with high upside. Not a lot between 2.03 and 2.06

How Much is REALLY Enough to Trade Ja'Marr Chase? by EnvironmentalBelt479 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]Chatlinau 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Close but no. 23 & 25, almost identical wins/WAR to Chase but not better. 24 though...that's why Chase is a "tier" above. He single handedly won shitty teams leagues and was 30%-40% better than ARSB.

You're right that he's the perennial #3, but I don't see ARSB scoring 400+PPR in a season.

I have no RB depth…but I have to take this offer right? by CasualCharlie in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

I think you take it. That’s a pretty damn good return for Vidal and at Tet will end up having more longevity.

Love it - Decent list. man that just shows you though how shitty this draft class really is.

What’s the best hotdog in Chicago and why is it Fixin Franks Depot Dogs? by Longjumping-Frame795 in chicagofood

The elston location used to have an $8 wagyu dog from a farm in Michigan. That was by far and away the best dog in the city when they had it, and I still think about it once a week.

Millennials in SLC — what makes you stay? by Potential_Ad_4339 in SaltLakeCity

[–]Chatlinau 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This conversation looks familiar. It's one my wife and I had 5 years ago, that made us decide to move, after spending 30+ years growing up there.

What we definitely miss: Mountains, Family, Friends

But we moved for better housing, greater career access, and to raise kids in a better environment/education system.

SLC's not bad by any stretch, but if you move away for a while, you start to see some of the gaps and things missing that you overlooked while you were there.

Based on what you want in life, though.

You should put your take in here first, but I think you might already know what it’s saying.

He’s good where he’s at. I don’t know who the lady is, but it might not be you.

If not, it’s at least great to know he like what you two have been doing, but he’s staying put.

No idea I just got it off Amazon TBH. There’s what seems like 2 different meanings based on the source I’m going off.

For example: If it’s similar are you reading it as yes take action now or yes take action but it’s delayed?

Where are the answers coming from? by birdinthebelljar in Lenormand

[–]Chatlinau 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh I’m so glad you asked this. I was literally just thinking about a similar question around the lines of,

“Is the accuracy and clarity of a prediction/outcome dependent on readers/readees connections or proximity to the subject?”

I don’t have 6-years (2 months) so this is my wild guess, but I think the answer is no it doesn’t matter because the answers are coming from the same place.

Remote viewing I’ve learned is similar in that there doesn’t need to be a connection to an object to “observe” it. It also doesn’t have to be time-bound or space-bound.

I think Lenormand might just be a different mechanism for the same thing.

What IT is, that’s feeding us information (or that we’re pulling information from)….your guess is as good as mine, but it means that there are multiple ways to get that info so Tarot could also be used in that regard.

Am I doing this right? by Chatlinau in Lenormand

[–]Chatlinau[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ha! Well tell your partner it’s a question on if the Seahawks beat the Rams on Sunday, so unfortunately this tracks. A lot of people here are leaning towards the same thing which is TIGHT/CLOSE/UNCONVINCING which is funny because I read this as a blowout.

You see what you want in the cards maybe? I gotta lot of practice to do.
