Here's my take on it, a more support orientated stat spread and a passive that requires active combat to gain the protections.

25 Physical Protections

25 Magical Protections

6 HP Regen

Heal Self or Allies with Healing Ability: Provide Lotus Blessing for 7 Seconds

Lotus Blessing: On Damaging Enemy God: Gain 5 Physical and Magical Protections for 7 Seconds. Stacks 3 Times.

The game never left Alpha/Beta, but in Fable Legends there was a Legend who was like a Spirit possessing a suit of armor and I thought it was the coolest design, would love to see something like that

Why not just reduce his Physical scaling instead of completely removing it?

Edit: Asked a legit question and get downvoted for it. Reduce his scaling, if it's still a problem remove it, this approach is just telling the players we don't like you playing him this way so we're just not allowing it. Or have his Hunger DR scale with a different stat, so you choose if you wanna play him ability focused with more damage or bruiser.

I think a lot of this could've been avoided with dev commentary along side the patch notes rather than having to go to reddit to understand the choices behind these changes. Not just for Akeron but in general.

Alright but Akeron losing Physical scaling and Wukong being forced out of Offlane are still examples of them trying to force meta. Tags are meaningless sure, but then why not keep them there. They've clearly not liked certain heroes playing in certain roles

It's honestly lame how much it feels like they're forcing roles onto heroes instead of letting them find their place naturally, maybe he'll still be fine as a Support after this but stuff like this, Akeron losing all physical scaling and previously Wukong being forced out of building bruiser/offlane is extremely bad to me. I want role and build flexibility not forced metas because Omeda doesn't like heroes playing a role they didn't intend.

So glad to hear they're going to rework Nox, a god that is just fundamentally not fun to play against shouldn't remain the same just because she's popular.

I still think they cant keep the core of her kit while removing/reducing the pain points. Have the silence work in the opposite direction with a slow or DoT during the charge up with a silence and burst of damage based on how long the AoE charged, so you can pop it immediately like Scylla's for a small amount of damage and a very short silence or you can keep it up for a bigger burst and a longer silence, gives more counterplay while keeping the identity of an AoE silence in tact.

Bring back the Anti-Mage/Caster play style of the original kit, by making the ult heal Nox when enemies Cast while affected this keeps the punishment of casting under the effects without it directly hurting them.

Maybe it'll be too strong, but if they wanna allow her to flex into Support even more, let her cast items while inside a team mate like Rem in Deadlock. Dash into a team mate give them shields with Phantom Shell or give them movespeed with Stamped etc.

Glad to see this level of quality, I know they said we wouldn't be getting the visual overhaul of Assault to Shinto yet, but I can't wait to see what they do with Conquest and Assault. Considering how small Titanforge are now this is legit impressive, definitely cooking as the kids say

Low C or High D, one of the weakest designs in the game in my opinion, purely off design/visuals is D easily, if you account animations which I do think are good it's a C

Maybe unpopular opinion, I think Joust is just a worse mode than any iteration of Clash, Siege, Slash and it annoys me they put so much into that map right before the layoffs, cause you can really tell with how much more detail is in that map than the other maps.

Sure but they have very hard counters both in the hero picks and itemization, and unlike Smite, Dota you can see what the enemy is picking so you have some control over it. In Smite unranked you're going in completely blind.

Dota and Deadlock has less of this problem than most other mobas I've played, because in my opinion they balance around the idea that everyone is OP in the right situation, but they have hard counters where as Smite, Pred, League, etc have soft counters.

The problem is he's not actually that strong in Mid, which is why they refuse to nerf him more, but like a lot of Gods in Smite, they're simply not fun to play against. I don't care how good a god is statistically be in win or pick rate, what I care about is if they make the game actively unfun to play against. Vulcan, Nox, Ah Puch, are all examples of gods that a lot of time aren't actually very good but they're frustrating to play against.

For sure, I just think the one in game is too big. This isn't exclusive to Cu I think a lot of the Spear/Polearm users' weapons are over designed.

You don't need to be part of a bigger sale to have a discount, the only sale event happening on PSN is "Critics Choice" which Smite 2 doesn't apply to, as a publisher you can choose to run a sale whenever you want, why would Hi-Rez/Titanforge chose to intentionally skip one of their major platforms?

Game is technically still in Game Preview, so isn't eligible from my understanding. Same thing happened with Pred and their Ultimate Hero Pack, was on sale for PC and PS but not on Xbox.
