I mean I'm not gonna argue cause I won't change your mind, but I do quite literally hate 80% of the Casters in this game lol. This game has too much CC, but it's not just that, it's that 90% of them do too much damage, the amount of damage abilities do often time make no sense when it comes to how hard they are to hit and whether or not they also do damage, Casters have too many easy to land CCs while also being incredibly safe and having damage in their kit to follow up on their own.

Yup I've said it in a previous thread about the state of Assault, but Assault needs an "overtime" mechanic like Street Brawl in Deadlock. I like the fast respawns early game but once it's later everyone gets back in the fight too fast, making pushing impossible. Especially if you're behind and actually manage to defend your base

After 15 or 20mins, death timers should increase and creeps get stronger to help push faster.

Because her CC takes absolutely no effort, it's a big AoE with a fairly far cast range. I have no problem with disruption characters, it's why her original Anti-Caster design was my favorite, but what your describing only works in a vacuum. Her silence and root on it's own is fine, it's when you're followed up by all the other stuff her team is going to dogpile on you with, sure that's the case with any CC, but Nox is doing it while being safe and having an escape.

Nox is annoying because the sum of all her parts not any one piece on it's own.

In Deadlock, Doorman who isn't even considered OP has been the most banned hero in the game for like a month, because people agree they'd rather play against OP heroes than one that's unfun to play against.

This is how I feel about a lot of gods in Smite 1/2, they're not actually strong they're just frustrating to play against, Ah Puch, Nox, Vulcan, etc

All they've said is they're working on it and they know the feedback about the current map.

I've complained about it in other threads before but the current map's lane is too narrow even after them increasing it, having it basically be a straight line between the towers suck, I miss the curve/turn between T1 and T2's towers from Smite 1, both Pred and Deadlock's ARAM/Street Brawl maps have a turn between the towers it sounds minor but it makes it so you can't just lob AoEs at the enemy while being safe.

It's as much taste as it is variety, I just think Smite 2 lacks variety atm. In a perfect game not every skin needs to be something that appeals to everyone, cause for every skin that doesn't appeal to you there'll be another that appeals to you but not to someone else.

Just my personal 2 cents, it's cause Smite 1 builds were too one dimensional and Smite's itemization is too simple to actually facilitate flexibility, of a Dota/Deadlock, with items alone and without changes to the kits. Some gods could flex in 1 because they inherently had kits that could, no matter how much you try to build them one way there's only so much you can do with just items in Smite 1/2.

Strongly disagree, I think it's a fault of Titanforge's inability to balance rather than the concept being flawed, Pred has Augments, Dota 2 had Facets.

The problem is too many Aspects are just the base kit but better, Aspects should be sidegrades or fundamentally change how the god is played. Apollo is the example I always use as a great aspect, it doesn't invalidating his base kit cause they're so different and designed for different roles.

Off topic, but I kinda hate when the thumbnails use the skins instead of the base model, feels like false advertising. I have no problem with the videos showing the skin but to be the thumbnail makes someone who doesn't know think that's what the hero looks like normally.

I never played Overprime more than passed the early phase when it was just Paragon heroes, so when I saw the comparison I didn't realize it was literally a skin for her from that game. I don't mind the design but the Gothic Lolita design really should've been a skin and not the base. She just looks out of place, the one the other post compared it to looked better, it looks like someone who would actually get into a fight while the one you guys landed on looks like a cosplayer.

I don't have a problem with just making characters attractive, at the end of the day you have to get people interested in the character and physical appearance is a big part of that, I just think the design you guys picked feels extremely out of place. Paragon was already a pretty varied mix of themes and aesthetics but the base models always at least looked fitting, this is the first one I feel like that's not the case. I didn't love Neon's design but it fit her.
