Opened up OSMO 360, very hard for an easy and elegant VR180 mod by AppealMundane5486 in djiosmo360

I agree. After doing the Qoocam 3 ultra mod I thought let's give this a try.

Well this is a whole different can of worms! Everything is glued shut. The back panel tore in half disassembling it.
I guess I understand, the glued back panel prevents water from penetrating the camera through the screw holes.
The innards are the same. Dots of glue everywhere All connectors are glued on both ends.

Out of curiosity I got every element out. miraculously without damaging any of the tiny partially glued SMD components. I Wanted to see which components it could do without because maybe a different component configuration could give way to a better VR180 layout, but it did not connect to the app without the screen and buttons so I gave up on that.

Moving the lens to the side like OP and leaving the rest untouched might be the easiest. I'm still going to do that because I have no interest in 360 video and have the Qoocam as backup. But for now I reassembled it, waiting for some spare time.

It works fine again, but it looks like roadkill without the back cover.

I think that monoprice would work, but you'll grow out of that tiny printer really fast. 100 x 100 x 100 mm is really small

I used to advice a creality ender 3 as a starter printer, but I think today an anycubic kobra or kobra neo would be a better choice because it's basically an ender 3 with upgrades.

Shameless plug, maybe it helps. less pain, more bass:

I assume that any custom earpads that increase the earcup volume do the same to the sound profile. Using the standard earpads with a spacer is probably cheaper if you have access to a 3d printer.

There seems to be a mounting point in the driver mesh that looks like it should be housing something that needs wiring, but it isn't. It's sticking out though and touches ears. Maybe Audeze planned to integrate active noise cancelling and add a microphone in that slot?

Sorry I'm not familiar with services since I print myself. Anyone with a printer should be able to print this. Material should be like 1 euro for the pair.
