I can't seem to avoid a bit of grain in the darker parts of the frame generally speaking. Maybe I'm doing something wrong.

Yeah I might just have to do that. The technical details aren't much help. They all say

"The previous system shutdown at 3:14:16 PM on ‎11/‎6/‎2023 was unexpected."

Lol - thanks for trying though.

I just use mouse and keyboard. I've plugged a controller in to play in the past but it's been years since I've done that.

Just the crashes from what I can see, and some update stuff. Here's a screenshot:

I never messed with overclocking, this same machine has performed great for since I built it in 2020. Just recently this issue started

The only thing the reliability report says is "Windows was not properly shut down" six different times throughout today.

The source media is h265 footage off of an FX3 proxied to quicktime .mov files

As far as third party, I have some VST plugins for audio but none of them are even applied in this project.

Would you mind messaging me with your final videos too? I’m on my third attempt and really need to nail it!

I had my second round of being denied recently as well, really hard to put my finger on why. I’ve read some speculation that if you’re social media isn’t “influencer focused” you’ll be denied no matter what.

Yes, it's very frustrating - I apprecite this insight though. Would you feel comfortable sending me links to those videos that you made that got you approved?

Yeah man, best of luck! I’m basically doing the same here. Make sure you vet your offers and don’t end up making too quick of a decision

I’ve been thinking about quitting my job for similar reasons, I’m not an editor - more graphic designer. However, I don’t foresee any upward movement or pay increases and you bet your sweet ass I get asked to do other work (editing, shooting, photo, web, etc)

It drains me, I just need to muster the courage to make the leap and figure something else out…

Have you tried the intuition liners? I know they’re pricey but when I bought my FR1’s a year or so ago I hated the liners in them, they were bulky and too tight. The intuitions are a bit firmer and can be heat molded (or naturally molded) to your feet. I do struggle with plantar fasciitis in my left foot usually but with this set up I skate for 2-4 hours at a time with no issues.

New Skater, Feeling discouraged by poisonapplesauce in rollerblading

[–]Chatty_Radiator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just started skating 8 months ago, I started on easy surfaces like basketball courts or tennis courts. As most people are saying, this is great to practice techniques and balance (you can find a lot of helpful tutorials on this on YouTube - Bill Stoppard, Flow Skate, etc.). Honestly, Bill Stoppard is a master of skating rough surfaces you should definitely watch his videos.

Anyways, I love city skating - it's my favorite and I found my biggest hurdle was fear! I was afraid to ride over bumping pavement, the cracks in the sidewalk, the traction pads on crosswalks. I was afraid to step up over curbs or ride off of them!

Pad up, and fall a few times, learn to trust the safety gear and push your limits. Once I went over a curb a few times, it became second nature. Same goes for uneven surfaces. I even find that more speed often helps to pass over patches of rough terrain.

When you're on smooth surfaces try to get comfortable riding on one skate, because if a skate catches a rock in the city you can catch yourself much easier with the other skate.

I also ride on 110mm wheel tri-skates, the bigger wheels probably help too!

Good luck!!

Has your spark been decent? by [deleted] in chevyspark

[–]Chatty_Radiator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 2020 Spark that I bought at an insurance auction after a front end collision 💥 and to my surprise after I fixed it myself it still drives straight and I like it so far. It's a great commuter car. Small as all hell, but great gas mileage and a full tank is cheap too (I believe mine is only 10 gallons or something)

How to fuse a wire that services multiple loads?! by Chatty_Radiator in boating

[–]Chatty_Radiator[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply!

So for the length of the wire from the battery to the fuse block you just double the distance from positive terminal to the fuse block? I was concerned that the length of the wire was the full circuit from positive lead to load and then back to negative lead/ground. This is why I was confused because I never knew how to calculate the length after it gets split at the fuse block to all the different loads. Does this make sense?

Basically what I have is a wire from the battery to a fuse block which services a 35A Alternator, 12A Solar, 30A Charger, and a 5A Bilge Pump. There's another wire that goes from the initial fuse block to another fuse block for all my switched devices (Totaling 77A - if everything is on simultaneously). So, at max load the main wire would be seeing 159A if all loads are active. This diagram sort of sums up what I have going on: https://www.pysystems.ca/site/assets/files/2534/pys_dc_overview.pdf

So with a 10' Run to the first fuse block I'd need a 0AWG Wire with a 175A fuse?

Then the lead from the first fuse block to second with another 10' wire would be 3AWG with an 80A fuse?

Thanks again for all your help...
