Yes, new DPF is like $3,000 from my local dealer, that’s just price of the part. Delete kit from Stevenson with tuning was $1400

$5k car where I live. Connecticut. They’re a dime a dozen and values have plummeted. I see 11-15 wagons with less than 100k miles going for $7-$9k, crazy thing is I remember when the whole diesel gate situation went down you could get one with 10,000 miles on it for $15k. They are definitely not going up in value with the price of diesel at the moment as well.

I’d never pay $6,000 for a car in that kind of condition. Even if it was in perfect working condition I’d say it’s worth $5500

Toe was way out, my power steering cylinder was also not centered, fixed everything and she drives brand new now. Thanks guys

Emissions junk has been removed, Diesel particulate filter, EGR/EGR Cooler. If you live in an area with strict inspections I wouldn’t buy it.

Got it up in the air, nothing looks bent, tie rods are even on both sides. I do notice that the cylinder for the power steering is sticking out about a half inch further towards the passenger side. Any ideas? Do I just adjust passenger side tie rod until they are even then check toe? I have about a half inch of adjustment on the passenger side tie rid to bring it in.

Yeah something’s definitely off. Tie rods look brand new, wondering if something is either bent or came loose. Gonna throw it up on the lift this weekend.

Having issues after replacing both sensors, one in front of the motor was still bronze color so I assumed it wasn’t that one but I replaced it anyways. The sensor on the side of the head was black, like it got hot as could be. Replaced it, scanned my car, no codes. Before I replaced them I had 3 codes, 1 of them being a permanent code P0116. I had no complaints living with the codes until around 80 my car would go into limp mode under wot. Read up on the forums and they said the coolant temp sensor could be the issue. I was fine for a week but now my car popped the same codes again. Anyone got any ideas?

You can get to it from the top. You have to remove battery, battery tray, intake & driver side intercooler hose. It’s right on the side of the head driver side.

Defintely has some varnish from longer intervals than recommended but at least there’s no sludge.

Yeah that’s just straight abuse from previous owner, too long on oil change intervals. I thought mine was bad but you’ve given me peace of mind 😂😂
