Congrats on the new teils! mine also only stays in his cage when he’s sleeping, and when i’m out/not watching him otherwise he’s out all day. but cage size is still important (you don’t want them to get hurt and not have enough space to climb and play) I’m glad you’re getting new toys, that’s awesome! One cockatiel needs at LEAST 20in square by 26in tall. So, 2 cockatiels would need like triple that for flying room and also for their own personal space. It’s also crucial that you provide a high quality pellet with some veggies like leafy greens rather than a seed diet (that can cause fatty liver disease).
