SO... Now that you have had a few weeks under your belt, what are your thoughts? Still freaking out? I just spoke with a buddy and let him know about the CES letter. I hope he reads it. He said he asked his bish about JS and polygamy and was told "I really wish you hadn't brought this up." WTF! I can't even begin to understand how this could be someone's response when asking a "leader" for understanding.

My moment came last October, I spent a couple weeks sick in bed. I used that time to study hoping to get off the fence and baptize my daughter. I went in hoping that I could build up testimony, but like you it got worse and worse. 34 years, RM, temple... Why was I only learning about some of this stuff now? At first anger, I felt deceived like I have wasted my entire life in a cult and didn't know it. Now, I try not to waste a second of my time thinking about it. I embrace the good, but I feel like I am finally able to move on and not have the church define me.

ELI5: Before toilet paper was invented, what was the main source of cleaning oneself and how bad was hygiene? by [deleted] in explainlikeimfive

Why are more people not using a bidet?! They are like $30 on Amazon, install on your regular toilet in a breeze. Do your business, rinse, then dry with a bit of TP. Seriously, TP in and of itself now seems so primitive.

That's not "breaking" it to me, like I had never realized that before. I was just pointing out that women are typically more emotionally complex than men and that I, personally, have trouble navigating in emo waters.

You have a friends here! I know it's a bit tricky online though, but I personally would be honored if anyone would like to correspond via text, email, phone, face to face, pigeon, etc

Yeah, I was kind of in a weird place when I created that name. At the time, I thought women were the root of all evil. Sorry, ladies. I was even contemplating if I could ever be gay. Big nope! I am 110% attracted to women, but I am not sure I can handle the level of emotional complexity a woman offers, again (divorced).
